Public Practice Accountant
This is a great opportunity to progress a career in public practice accounting. You will be working with the usual range of entities used by individuals, investors, small to medium business and superannuation funds in their financial affairs.
Job Tasks and Responsibilities
Initially the work will be predominantly compliance and taxation, with opportunities to grow into business and process improvement, implementation of accounting internal controls, computerisation, and taxation optimisation. The scope for your dealing with clients will increase in line with your demonstrated technical and client management skills.
Skills and Experience
To be successful, you will need an accounting degree or diploma (or to be in your final year) that will entitle you to membership of CPA or IPA, at least three years? accounting experience, possibly gained while studying, a high level of computer literacy, a friendly personality with a high attention to customer service, and to be fluent in English and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
